| Phnom Bakheng Built in the late 9th century, Phnom Bakheng became the nucleus of Angkor. The impressive pyramid, on top of a steep and dominant hill, is quiet over the day; it's overcrowded at sunset. |

The most pretty face tower is now at an almost hidden spot. Small way from the outer north-west corner of Ta Prohm.to the East. |
